Yes
(2004, Sally Potter)
Some poets say rhyming is
a sin, they just don't understand the beauty within. Yes opens with
the illusion of clean, then goes through all the troubles a marriage has
seen. Gimmick it may be but it's certainly unique, adultery is clashing with
femininity, addding a touch of chique. The script manoeuvres amusingly to
accommodate constant rhyme, so when it suddenly stops, something really
feels missing. It's a fascinating experiment.

Todo Todo Teros
(2006, John Torres)
If I had to pick a
winner... It was a long festival day: five average films in
a row. Midnight screening saved
the soul from going totally blank. In dreamlike state the terrorist poetry
of Todo Todo Teros attacked the heart,
forgetting about the tired body in a back row chair. One year later, after
e-mailing back and forth, I met the creator of this video collage. We
talked in an empty auditorium, about popularity, the internet and love.
